• Conduct field inspections and related tasks • Read maps and aerial photos, measure fields, and discuss findings with farmers • Convey complex regulations and interpretations to claimants and agents • Perform fact finding regarding crop damage and transmit loss information • Complete claim reviews and audits on lower-level adjusters as assigned • Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies • Contribute to team goals
• High School Diploma or Equivalent • 6 months+ of experience in agricultural area • Crop Adjuster Proficiency Program Certification (CAPP) must be obtained within 180 days of hire date • Reliable personal transportation and travel within territory • Valid Driver’s License • Physical requirements include walking in fields up to 3 miles, climbing bins up to 25 feet, lifting 25 lbs. to 50 lbs., working outdoors in varying conditions • For Adjuster II: 2+ years in crop insurance and claims adjusting • For Specialist: 4+ years in agriculture or crop insurance industry with CAPP certification
