📋 Description

• Join Zurich’s Rural Community Insurance Services (RCIS) team, a leading crop insurance provider in the U.S. • Exercise judgment to determine liability by gathering and analyzing relevant facts and using applicable procedures • Determine policy verification and coverage by analyzing applicable claim coverage and deciding whether losses are covered • Participate in Risk Management Agency-initiated reviews and referrals for operational integrity and quality assurance • Protect Zurich’s reputation by keeping claims information confidential • Maintain professional and technical knowledge through educational opportunities, industry trends, personal networks, and professional societies • Travel within the assigned territory and outside it as needed to assist with workloads, participate on CAT teams, and provide remote claims assistance

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent and 6 or more months of experience in the agricultural area for Crop Claims Field Adjuster I • High School Diploma or Equivalent and 4 or more years of experience in the agricultural or crop insurance industry for Crop Claims Specialist • Crop Adjuster Proficiency Program Certification (CAPP) must be obtained within 180 days of hire • Reliable personal transportation and travel within territory • Personal transportation and travel within assigned territory and outside the assigned area to assist with workloads, participate on CAT team, and/or provide remote assistance for CROP Claims Care Center calls and/or CCP Claims • Walk in agricultural fields up to 3 miles • Climb agricultural storage bins up to 25 feet • Lift 25 lbs to 50 lbs • Work outdoors in varying temperatures/weather conditions • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills • Strong organization, multi-tasking and prioritization skills • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills • Must live within 50 miles of Bottineau, Rolette, Pierce, Benson, McHenry, or Ramsey counties in North Dakota • Employment sponsorship is not offered
