Descrição

• Create and implement SAF fundraising campaigns and individual giving strategies • Manage SAF’s eight donor funds and coordinate engagement strategies • Manage estate giving and planned giving programs • Cultivate long-term donor and partner relationships and develop a prospect pipeline • Process timely thank-you letters and donation acknowledgements • Serve as staff liaison to the Hill Fund scholarship program • Support new partners in understanding and engaging with SAF programs • Connect partners with appropriate program leads to formalize relationships • Develop sector-specific proposal pitches for academic, industry, state government, federal government, and nonprofit audiences • Lead development of the SAF engagement guide • Attend the annual national convention and assist with staff activities • Coordinate the convention’s silent auction and raffle • Coordinate VIP and donor recognition events at the convention and throughout the year • Perform other duties assigned by the CEO and direct supervisor

🎯 Requisitos

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, nonprofit management, philanthropy, communications, sales, or a related field, or equivalent related experience in the nonprofit and association environment • At least 3 years of experience managing donor management and fundraising in a fast-paced, professional environment • Ability to travel 5–10% of the time • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Excellent customer service ethic and ability to cultivate, grow, and maintain positive relationships • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook • Ability to work independently, make decisions, follow instructions, and collaborate effectively as a team member • Detail-oriented, proactive, self-starting attitude with a desire to grow and develop • Exceptional time management and ability to multitask and manage multiple deadlines • Ability to take ownership of projects from start to finish with consistent follow-through • Ability to work comfortably from home with reliable internet access and participate in video phone calls with staff and partners • Association and volunteer management experience is a plus • Knowledge and passion for forests and natural resources is a plus • Sales experience is a plus
