Descrição

• Support administration of the California Social Work Education Capacity Expansion grant for the Master of Social Work program • Perform outreach in underserved California communities, publicize the MSW program, and recruit students from underrepresented populations • Conduct targeted recruitment for field placement opportunities in students’ local communities • Coordinate student field placements and ensure sites satisfy Field Program guidelines and HCAI grant criteria • Guide students in locating field sites • Serve as university liaison for field placement inquiries from internal and external stakeholders • Monitor field agencies for proper supervision and task assignment • Respond to questions from students, site supervisors, and agency directors • Troubleshoot placement issues with field and university staff/faculty • Communicate field policies, procedures, and expectations • Identify and assess agencies in underserved California communities as field placement sites • Track and maintain student intern placement data by term • Perform other duties related to the SWECE grant as assigned

🎯 Requisitos

• Master of Social Work degree from a CSWE-accredited MSW program • California residency is required • Travel within California approximately 1–4 times a year is required • Applicants are subject to a background check and criminal history review • Knowledge of academic processes in a college/university setting • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills • Highly developed organizational skills and attention to detail • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent Google Workspace tools • Ability to leverage AI-powered tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Google Gemini, ChatGPT, Grammarly, or similar • Ability to exercise independent judgment, tact, diplomacy, and confidentiality • Ability to problem solve, troubleshoot, and work under pressure • Ability to work effectively within a collaborative environment • Strong competence in Microsoft Office • 2+ years of post-master’s experience placing MSW students for field practicum in a university online platform preferred • Experience engaging in outreach or student recruitment events preferred • Substantial experience in an academic environment desired • Knowledge of SharePoint and Sonia preferred
