📋 Description

• Facilitate effective communication with client project stakeholders regarding project status and recommendations • Orchestrate AI coding tools to rapidly scaffold Capacitor plugin interfaces, boilerplate UI, and test suites • Review and correct AI-generated code across TypeScript, Kotlin, and Swift, including hardware permissions and native interactions • Architect and build the native bridge between the JavaScript WebView and native hardware, handling asynchronous high-frequency BLE data streams without bottlenecking the UI thread • Lead the Phase 1 Android implementation, developing background services and managing BLE connections including GAP, GATT, and MTU negotiations • Ensure battery-optimized hardware communication • Design TypeScript Capacitor interfaces for cross-platform replication in Swift/CoreBluetooth during Phase 2 iOS expansion • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver a world-class mobile experience • Stay current with React Native, TypeScript, Expo, and mobile development trends

🎯 Requirements

• Strong Web-to-Native framework experience (Ionic, Capacitor, or similar) – minimum 5 years • Deep Native Android experience (Kotlin/Java) – minimum 3+ years, specifically with background services, thread management, and modern Android permission models (Android 12+) • Advanced Native BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) expertise – profound understanding of GATT/GAP, connection stability, auto-reconnections, and MTU size negotiations on native Android • AI-Augmented Development proficiency – hands-on experience driving AI code assistants (Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude) and engineering context for multi-language stacks • Proven ability to write custom native code and expose it to the JavaScript layer via modern plugin APIs (Capacitor preferred) • Solid understanding of mobile app performance optimization techniques • Exceptional problem-solving skills with a focus on debugging complex web-to-native hardware bridges and delivering clean, maintainable code • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment • English proficiency • Familiarity with iOS native development (Swift, CoreBluetooth) to ensure smooth cross-platform architectural design for future phases • Strong understanding of local databases (e.g., SQLite, Realm) and offline-first mobile app strategies
