📋 Description

• Partner with senior leadership to implement strategic initiatives and meet annual production targets • Collaborate with the Fannie Mae Customer Engagement team on waiver requests, pricing, and transaction structuring • Oversee underwriting and closing functions to align with origination goals and credit standards • Manage a portfolio of Fannie Mae and balance sheet loans, including permanent, construction, and bridge financing • Vet, size, and quote new loan requests to improve turnaround times and deal capture rates • Participate in processing and closing Fannie Mae loans to support collaboration and client satisfaction • Develop and maintain client, broker, and property-level databases to support pipeline stability • Cultivate internal referral relationships through branch networks and other departments • Support Relationship Managers with marketing, waiver/pricing requests, and asset management issues • Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive dynamics to inform business decisions • Support projects of varying complexity based on skill and organizational priorities

🎯 Requirements

• Undergraduate degree required; graduate degree preferred • 10+ years of experience in Banking, Finance, or related field • 7+ years of experience in multifamily agency lending, including Fannie Mae DUS programs • Strong credit training and underwriting expertise • Proven ability to manage complex transactions and loan portfolios • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and analytical skills • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships • In-depth knowledge of Fannie Mae DUS program guidelines and agency lending processes • Strong credit analysis and underwriting skills for multifamily transactions • Ability to manage loan portfolios and support origination efforts • Leadership skills to guide underwriting and closing teams effectively • Strategic thinking with ability to execute initiatives aligned with business goals • Advanced relationship-building and negotiation skills with clients and internal stakeholders • Ability to balance risk management with growth objectives • Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage competing priorities effectively
