a37 is the applied AI lab reimagining DevOps. They are creating Forge, an AI-native DevOps workspace that transforms how teams manage infrastructure at scale.

📋 Description

• Embed directly with companies to ship reliable, secure, best-practice infrastructure • Own green-field and brown-field infrastructure • Design, build, and operate CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration, infrastructure as code, monitoring, and incident response • Lead day-zero engagements by conducting discovery, drafting 30–60–90-day infrastructure plans, and driving executive buy-in • Hold the pager, debug outages, and ship fixes that prevent recurrence • Pair-program with teams, run brownbag sessions, and write concise runbooks • Capture field patterns to improve internal tooling and playbooks

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years building and operating production cloud infrastructure • Proven success juggling multiple projects or consulting engagements • Deep experience with at least one major cloud plus Kubernetes • Hands-on Terraform (or Pulumi/CDK) • Experience with modern CI/CD, including GitHub Actions, CircleCI, GitLab, or Buildkite • Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus/Grafana, Datadog, or OpenTelemetry • Strong fundamentals in networking, Linux, containers, and security • Prior forward-deployed or consulting experience is a nice-to-have • Experience hardening SOC 2, ISO 27001, or HIPAA environments is a nice-to-have • Serverless, data-platform, or multi-cloud routing expertise is a nice-to-have • Go or Python for bespoke tooling is a nice-to-have
