📋 Description

• Coordinate commercial activity within in-field teams to increase sales within the assigned geography • Create, implement, and communicate the District Sales Plan and monitor progress • Coordinate in-field activity to achieve results and agreed-upon targets • Maximize market, segment, and team dynamics to drive top- and bottom-line results • Ensure smooth collaborative day-to-day and long-term business execution • Set the tone and pace for business processes and organization • Present market and franchise/business points of view when leading teams • Develop mastery of product, disease-state, and managed-care information • Coach, mentor, educate, and develop direct and indirect team members • Hold direct reports accountable to behaviors and expectations • Provide direction and insights to key internal partners during business planning • Consistently exemplify the AbbVie Ways of Working • Travel approximately 50% of the time

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field preferred, or relevant and equivalent industry experience required • Minimum four years of pharmaceutical sales management experience; external management experience can be considered • Business analysis and planning skills that drive sales performance • Proven District Manager leadership experience • Good standing with safety and compliance standards • Currently meeting performance expectations • Demonstrated alignment with the AbbVie Way and Leadership Attributes • Excellent judgment and decision-making skills • Ability to articulate scientific aspects of treatments and therapeutic areas • Ability to deliver candid, effective feedback and manage performance efficiently • Ability to develop talent for promotional opportunities • Ability to create a culture of winning and full team engagement • Must satisfy applicable health care industry representative credentialing requirements, including any required background checks, drug screens, immunization/vaccination proof, fingerprinting, and specific state or city licenses • Valid driver's license • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test and meet safe driving requirements
