đź“‹ Description

• Acquire and maintain key scientific knowledge to communicate credible information to external experts and other healthcare professionals • Participate in investigator-initiated studies, clinical studies, and relevant medical projects, and provide follow-up • Provide scientific support and contribute to maintaining relationships with external experts and academic centers • Deliver credible presentations on various scientific topics to healthcare professionals, individually or in groups • Participate in identifying qualified healthcare professionals for collaborative projects, including research and support for conferences and meetings • Ensure the integrity of scientific or informational content shared as part of collaborations • Attend relevant meetings and conferences and prepare summaries of the key data presented • Establish and maintain relationships and scientific credibility with external experts and new stakeholders • Respond to inquiries by providing key scientific and medical information to external experts and internal stakeholders • Cover Quebec and Atlantic Canada in the field

🎯 Requirements

• Must hold an advanced degree in a scientific discipline, such as a PharmD, MD, or PhD • Relevant business experience combined with strong knowledge of the biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry • Experience as a Medical Science Liaison; at least 2 years preferred • Experience in the Eye Care/Ophthalmology therapeutic area • Experience in a customer-facing role within the healthcare industry • Experience presenting and/or interpreting scientific publications or clinical research findings • Knowledge of scientific methods applicable to clinical research and the legal and regulatory controls currently in effect in this field • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word • Comfortable with technology and using various tools and systems • Ability to travel approximately 50% of the time • Valid driver's license and passport • Advanced English proficiency and a high level of English fluency are essential requirements for the position
