• Serve as a dedicated extension of the client’s Medical Affairs team supporting a medication for HAE across Quebec and the Maritimes • Build and facilitate strategic peer-to-peer relationships with key Health Care Providers in the assigned region • Provide credible and unbiased scientific information • Identify and execute the strategic Medical Affairs Plan • Support home office medical activities • Develop and demonstrate working knowledge of products and current medical/scientific research and publications • Establish a virtual Medical Affairs presence through scientific relationships with thought leaders, the medical community, and patient organizations • Provide virtual medical/scientific presentations to internal and external groups • Provide internal stakeholders with feedback and insights from virtual HCP interactions • Maintain clinical, scientific, and technical expertise in rare disease therapeutic areas • Review scientific journals and attend scientific and key technical meetings • Respond to and document unsolicited requests for scientific information, including for products in development • Share clinical and value-based expertise in clinical and scientific communications, publications, conference data, educational materials, and internal training materials • Support clinical initiatives including site identification and feasibility, trial recruitment, registry, and presentation of approved data if needed • Adhere to corporate and healthcare compliance guidance in all activities • Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues as appropriate
• Advanced scientific degree preferred (PharmD, PhD, MD, NP, PA, MSc or equivalent) • French/English bilingual proficiency required • 3+ years of MSL experience highly preferred • Understanding of rare disease, specialty care, or complex therapeutic environments is preferred • Demonstrated ability to build credibility with HCPs, KOLs, and key healthcare stakeholders • Strong scientific communication and presentation skills • Regional knowledge and cultural alignment within Quebec healthcare communities • Virtual external engagement experience preferred • Adherence and compliance with all required regulatory guidelines
