📋 Description

• Own Ada's security compliance program end to end, including audits, customer trust, vendor risk, vulnerability management, and the control framework. • Own security audits including AIUC, PCI, and SOC 2 through Drata, covering evidence collection, control mapping, and auditor coordination. • Automate evidence collection and control monitoring to keep the team audit-ready year-round. • Own security and compliance sections of customer RFPs and security questionnaires. • Maintain the SafeBase trust center and support customer security reviews. • Own vulnerability management, prioritizing findings, assigning ownership, and establishing SLAs for critical findings. • Run vendor security and privacy reviews as a standing process. • Maintain policies, data handling and retention documentation, control frameworks, and operating evidence. • Serve as the point of contact for customer security, privacy, and legal teams and the internal source of truth on compliance status. • Track agentic AI regulatory and framework developments, beginning with AIUC, and translate them into platform requirements. • Take ownership of compliance work spread across the team and make it sustainable. • In the first 90 days, own the AIUC audit, produce a current-state gap assessment, and make RFP security responses repeatable.

🎯 Requirements

• Deep audit experience across SOC 1, SOC 2, PCI DSS, NIST frameworks, AICPA standards, and PII/privacy requirements. • Experience running audits end to end, including evidence collection, control mapping, and auditor coordination. • Experience working directly with major audit firms such as Deloitte or EY. • Experience transforming manual compliance programs through automation tooling, process, and repeatability, using Drata or similar platforms. • Experience managing vulnerability programs at scale and reducing large backlogs through prioritization, ownership, and process. • Confidence in customer-facing security posture conversations with enterprise prospects and customers. • Understanding of modern infrastructure, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD sufficient to work effectively with engineers and auditors. • Experience owning RFP security sections, customer security questionnaires, and trust centers such as SafeBase. • Strong writing skills for policies, control documentation, and data handling standards. • Proactive program ownership focused on process, documentation, and tooling. • Ability to track regulatory and framework developments related to agentic AI governance; interest in AIUC and emerging frameworks is a strong plus. • An engineering background is preferred but not required.
