📋 Description

• Design and implement electrical systems for hyperscale data centers, including medium- and low-voltage power distribution, backup power systems, and emergency systems • Perform electrical calculations and develop drawings according to client specifications and industry standards • Develop and maintain electrical schematics, bills of materials, and installation drawings • Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations, including the National Electric Code (NEC) • Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to develop specifications, design criteria, and project budgets • Stay current with advancements in electrical engineering and data center technologies • Work on colocation and hyperscale data center projects for global clients • Participate in client meetings, key project milestones, onsite collaboration sessions, and other business-critical activities as needed • Work with teams around the world on high-profile, fast-paced data center projects • Serve in a hands-on, client-facing role

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in electrical engineering • 6+ years of MEP design experience • Experience with colocation and hyperscale data center projects • Experience working in Revit and ACC • Experience with power system analysis tools such as SKM or ETAP • Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) • Knowledge of building codes, including IBC and IECC • Professional Engineer License (P.E.) • Familiarity with mission-critical infrastructure standards and data center design requirements • Experience with data center design and construction, including design criteria and industry standards • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work remotely from a variety of locations in the United States where AECOM has an office • Periodic travel may be required for client meetings, key project milestones, onsite collaboration sessions, or other business-critical activities • Relocation is not available for this role • Sponsorship is not available for this role
