📋 Description

• Focus on purchase protection, including disputes and refunds, as part of the Servicing International team supporting global expansion • Own and deliver quarterly goals for your team and lead engineers through ambiguity to solve open-ended problems • Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics during ideation and technical decision-making, articulating constraints and trade-offs • Proactively identify and lead resolution of project, process, technology, or business issues • Support operations and availability by creating and monitoring metrics, escalating when needed, and participating in on-call efforts • Foster a culture of quality and ownership by setting or improving code review and design standards and advocating broadly • Help develop talent on your team by providing feedback, guidance, and leading by example • Partner closely with European engineering counterparts and global Servicing Engineering organization to build cohesive, scalable solutions

🎯 Requirements

• You have a total of 4+ years of experience as a software engineer • Experienced in designing, developing and launching backend systems at scale using technologies like Python, Kotlin, AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes • Experience shipping web apps using declarative UI frameworks like React or Vue • Experience defining a technical plan for the delivery of a significant feature or system component with an elegant, simple and extensible design • Write high quality code that is easily understood and used by others • Proficient at making significant changes in a large code base and have developed a suite of tools and practices that enable safe changes • Take ownership of your growth and proactively seek feedback • Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with a global engineering team • On-call rotation is required • Must be based in Spain (visa sponsorship available)
