📋 Description

• Own and deliver quarterly goals for the team • Lead engineers through ambiguity to solve open-ended problems • Support peers and stakeholders throughout the product development lifecycle • Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics during ideation and decision-making • Articulate technical constraints and evaluate risks and trade-offs • Identify and lead resolution of project, process, technology, and business issues • Support operations and availability of team artifacts through metrics, escalation, and on-call efforts • Establish and improve code review and design standards • Advocate for technical standards through writing and tech talks • Develop team talent through feedback, guidance, and leading by example • Shape the architecture, reliability, and evolution of high-traffic consumer web experiences • Build instrumentation and integrations connecting web experiences to growth and measurement systems • Partner with Product, Marketing, Analytics, Data Engineering, and platform teams

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of experience developing and architecting web applications using declarative UI frameworks such as React or Vue • Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript • Hands-on experience with web instrumentation and marketing technology, including Google Tag Manager (GTM/sGTM), analytics and experimentation platforms, conversion tracking, advertising or marketing APIs, and third-party web integrations • Experience designing reliable, performant consumer web systems • Understanding of consent, cookies, tagging, observability, and data collection in modern web architecture and measurement • Experience defining technical plans for significant features or system components with elegant, simple, and extensible designs • Ability to write high-quality, understandable code • Proficiency making significant changes in large codebases • Experience developing tools and practices that enable safe changes • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Must reside in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, or Saskatchewan
