📋 Description
• Break down larger projects into individual tasks and deliver them in multiple phases • Collaborate with product management, design and analytics on ideation and technical decisions • Articulate technical constraints and consider risks and trade-offs • Create and monitor metrics for team artifacts • Escalate issues and support operational availability, keep-the-lights-on and on-call efforts • Participate in interview and growth and development activities • Build tools and systems that make batch development and testing faster and more reliable • Partner with product and infrastructure engineers to streamline workflows and improve reliability of critical batch workloads
🎯 Requirements
• 1.5+ years of experience as a software engineer • Experience designing, developing and launching backend systems • Proficiency in Python or Kotlin • Familiarity with distributed systems, AWS, MySQL and Kubernetes • Ability to design solutions interacting with multiple software components • Ability to write clear, well-tested and extensible code • Comfortable navigating large code bases and debugging others' code • Experience providing code review feedback • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Equivalent practical experience or a Bachelor’s degree in a related field
