📋 Description

• Own the monthly P&L, cash-flow forecasting, annual and rolling budgets, and scenario planning • Analyze channel- and SKU-level margins and COGS • Oversee bookkeeping and accounting, including external accountants or direct handling • Partner with marketing on CAC, payback, and channel-level ROI • Manage cash burn, runway, and working-capital planning • Lead finance readiness for future fundraising, partnerships, or sale diligence • Plan and forecast inventory across channels • Manage purchase orders, supplier relationships, lead times, and cost negotiation • Manage 3PL performance, SLAs, and fulfillment costs • Optimize inbound and outbound freight and logistics costs • Build scalable finance and operations SOPs, documentation, cadences, and controls • Take ownership of the financial model, audit the books, build a six-month inventory forecast, and establish a monthly finance cadence during the first 90 days • Report directly to the founder

🎯 Requirements

• Prior experience at a DTC or e-commerce brand • Personally built and owned a financial model for a consumer brand • Hands-on operations experience with inventory cycles, purchase orders, suppliers, 3PLs, and freight • Deep spreadsheet fluency • Self-directed operator able to work in a small team without layers • Experience with modeling, accounting, and inventory systems
