📋 Description

• Manage a designated dairy loan portfolio consisting typically of commercial and mortgage loans • Analyze new loan applications and loan servicing requests using financial statements and pertinent credit information • Develop credit packages and loan servicing actions • Assist the Relationship Manager in gathering information for credit decisions, including customer meetings and follow-up calls • Request appraisals, field reports, third-party verifications, credit reports, and lien searches • Complete loan analyses, including financial statements, cash flows, loan analysis forms, trend sheets, narratives, creditworthiness opinions, risks, and mitigants • Formulate projections using historical financial data, current budgets, and other information • Input financial information into financial analysis, loan origination, and loan processing systems • Make approval recommendations in accordance with Loan Underwriting Standards and regulatory requirements • Independently make approval recommendations on non-complex credits • Participate in loan committee meetings as required • Monitor the assigned portfolio for servicing needs and customer compliance with loan terms • Determine and review legal documentation • Coordinate with credit and approval departments, attorneys, and title companies on loan closings • Assist with special projects and work groups requiring underwriting expertise • Perform other assigned duties • Serve as a secondary point of contact for customers • Approve or deny credit actions using delegated authority or recommend them to higher authority

🎯 Requirements

• Required industry experience: Dairy • BA/BS degree with emphasis on agribusiness, business administration, or equivalent • Five or more years of progressively responsible banking or related agricultural lending experience • Demonstrated analytical and statistical skills to evaluate loan requests and independently assess creditworthiness • Demonstrated understanding of agricultural lending principles and practices, and association and Farm Credit System operating policies and procedures • Knowledge of Participation and Syndication credits • Knowledge of FCA regulations, association, and district policies and procedures • Demonstrated proficiency in organizing and prioritizing work to meet deadlines • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Strong persuasive and interpersonal skills • Proficient in PC use, including word-processing, e-mail, and electronic spreadsheet software • Ability to perform basic office tasks and work in a typical office setting • Ability to sit for extended periods and work at a desk and computer • Ability to talk and hear, sit, use hands and fingers, and reach in all directions • Ability to lift and move items up to 25 pounds • Ability to work during established business hours and weekends and/or evenings • Some travel required • Eligibility to work in the United States; visa sponsorship or transfer unavailable
