📋 Description

• Develop, test, and maintain web applications, APIs, and integrations using Python • Build, operate, and scale AWS environments • Implement infrastructure as code with AWS CDK • Automate builds, tests, and deployments through CI/CD pipelines • Provide visibility into system health, errors, and performance • Maintain clear, traceable documentation of changes and decisions • Work closely with Product, AI, and Data Science teams • Enable teams to access infrastructure directly and accelerate changes • Split your time equally between development and operations: Python-based applications and APIs as well as AWS infrastructure • Ensure reliable, secure, and traceable operation of applications

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in software development with Python • Ideally, experience with FastAPI, REST APIs, SQL, and pytest • Strong experience building and operating AWS environments, such as ECS, Lambda, RDS, S3, and DynamoDB • Practical experience with infrastructure as code, ideally AWS CDK • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, such as Git and Bitbucket • Enthusiasm for software development and taking responsibility for stable, secure operations • Transparent working style that makes system health, changes, and decisions visible and traceable • Effective collaboration in a cross-functional, agile team • Initiative, a creative and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving, and a growth mindset • Very good written and spoken German and English skills (C1) • Valid work authorization for Germany • Plus: Experience with monitoring and observability, such as CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus, or OpenTelemetry • Plus: Experience operating containers, such as Docker or Kubernetes • Plus: Previous experience at a B2B SaaS company
