📋 Description
• Find and respond to federal opportunities, focusing on small business and 8(a) set-asides • Write, assemble, and submit proposals at high volume, often turning one around in a day or two • Manage contracts after award, including serving as point of contact for agencies, handling modifications, compliance, and reporting • Spend about a quarter of the time on teaming and partnership outreach to other small businesses • Work with the recruiting team to staff new awards • Use AI tools to work faster and avoid building proposals by hand from scratch
🎯 Requirements
• 3+ years in federal contracting: contracts management, proposal writing, capture, or program management • Solid understanding of the FAR, set-aside programs, and the federal procurement process • An existing network of agency or contractor relationships is a strong plus • Comfortable with AI tools, or eager to become a power user • Preference for submitting ten good proposals rather than polishing one forever
