📋 Description

• Handle escalated claims files involving complex contents damage • Conduct thorough coverage investigations and ensure policies are applied correctly • Use advanced video technology to collaborate with onsite vendors, identify damages, and write contents damage estimates • Communicate empathetically with customers throughout the claims process • Negotiate claim settlements with customers, vendors, third-party carriers, and claimants • Coordinate with structure and ALE adjusters for holistic claim handling • Use data and analytics to influence decision-making • Investigate property claims through detailed damage reviews and policy interpretation • Document claim work accurately and timely in the claims system • Work Monday–Friday, 8 am–5 pm, with rotational Saturday or Sunday duty and extended hours when necessary

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of previous experience handling property insurance claims preferred • Prior experience using estimating software such as Xactimate for complex contents estimating • Valid driver's license • Willingness to travel as part of the job • Residency within the posted location is mandatory • Ability to work independently in the field or from a home office • Clear and professional written and verbal communication • Organization and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment • Willingness to work rotational weekend and extended hours when necessary • Must obtain an adjuster and/or appraiser license within 60 days of hire if required by the office/area • Must terminate existing insurance appointments and surrender a resident producer license when instructed, if applicable • Dedicated private workspace free from distractions when working from home • Reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload • Offered candidates must submit to a background investigation
