📋 Description

• Act as an HR partner (HRBP) to clients and advise managers and founders on team and personnel issues • Develop, review and implement HR policies, including the employee handbook, code of conduct, and policies on remote work, vacation and harassment • Design and deploy structured onboarding processes tailored to the culture of each client • Manage employee relations cases, including conflicts, disciplinary measures and departures • Optimize day-to-day HR operations, employee files, processes, tools and documentation • Support the implementation of performance management frameworks and goal tracking • Monitor HR best practices and ensure compliance with employment laws applicable in Canada and Europe depending on mandates • Collaborate with Alygra’s HR, Legal and Marketing teams to deliver engagements that are coherent and aligned with the firm's standards

🎯 Requirements

• 5 to 8 years of experience in human resources, including time as an HRBP, HR generalist or People Ops • Hands-on experience creating HR policies and managing employee relations cases • Strong understanding of onboarding cycles and their impact on retention • Excellent interpersonal skills and diplomacy when handling sensitive cases • Autonomy, rigor and the ability to manage multiple client engagements in parallel • Bilingual in French and English • Knowledge of employment standards applicable in Quebec • HR certification (CRHA or equivalent) considered an asset • Experience in an HR consulting firm or fractional HR engagements considered an asset • Knowledge of HR issues specific to tech companies and AI considered an asset • Previous experience in a startup or scale-up environment considered a significant asset
