📋 Description

• Lead and deliver complex projects critical to Amentum's strategic objectives • Implement and enforce project governance frameworks and compliance with project management standards • Plan and execute large, complex projects, defining scope, objectives, deliverables, costs, timelines, business cases, and success criteria • Develop project management plans, resource allocation strategies, and risk management approaches • Drive projects from initiation through benefits realization while maintaining timelines, budgets, and quality standards • Manage relationships with senior executives, department heads, external partners, and other stakeholders • Lead, coach, mentor, and inspire cross-functional project teams • Identify, assess, document, and mitigate project risks and issues • Develop contingency plans and escalation protocols • Develop and implement adoption change management strategies • Assess and track change requests and obtain decision-maker buy-in • Manage project resources, project codes, external resources, and material resources • Develop and manage project budgets, forecast financials, analyze variances, and provide financial reporting • Maintain project schedules, plans, documentation repositories, and risk/issue tracking • Conduct quality assurance, process improvement, lessons-learned, and best-practice activities • Facilitate meetings, presentations, project reviews, status reports, and executive-level communications • Perform other duties as required

🎯 Requirements

• Typically 8 years managing Information Technology/Services and/or Acquisition Integration projects • Bachelor's degree or Technical Certification in a related field • Application of PMI's project management methodology • Relevant project management certifications such as PMP, Agile, Scrum, or Lean Six Sigma highly desirable; PMP preferred • Extensive experience successfully leading and delivering large-scale, complex projects • Experience managing government contracts or projects • Current U.S. citizenship required • May require security clearances on multiple contracts • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, and SharePoint • Proficiency in Smartsheet required • In-depth knowledge of PMI's project management methodology • Ability to work extended hours occasionally to support contractual requirements • Ability to work under deadlines • Industry-specific knowledge related to Cyber, Infrastructure, or Application Development preferred
