• Provide personalized support and actionable solutions to help clients manage debt • Answer incoming calls from individuals seeking financial education or credit counseling support • Conduct one-on-one credit counseling sessions with clients via phone • Deliver financial education, create client budgets, and assist with the enrollment process into ACCC programs • Process consumer applications by accurately entering client information and budget details into internal systems • Follow up with prospective clients to encourage them to begin or continue the counseling process • Enroll qualified clients into appropriate debt consolidation or financial assistance programs • Educate clients on credit reports, credit scores, and strategies for maintaining healthy financial habits • Recommend tailored debt management plans and repayment strategies • Document client interactions and maintain accurate, confidential records
• High School Diploma or equivalent, Associates or Bachelors preferred • 1–2 years of experience in credit counseling, financial coaching, or debt management • NFCC Credit Counselor Certification (to be obtained within the first six months of employment) • Experience analyzing client budgets, income, and debt to create actionable repayment plans • Experience providing one-on-one counseling or coaching to clients in a confidential setting (phone and/or online) • Day-to-day proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook • Authorized to work in the United States • Availability to work Mon–Thu 2:00–10:00 PM ET and Fri 12:00–8:00 PM ET • Prolonged sitting at a desk and working on a computer (up to 8+ hours/day) • Talking on the phone for extended periods of time • Frequent use of hands/fingers for typing and operating a keyboard, mouse, and phone • Ability to wear a headset for extended periods • Vision sufficient to read computer screens and documents • Hearing sufficient to understand customer conversations via phone • Occasional walking or standing, depending on office layout or home setup
