📋 Description

• Lead business discovery activities for AI, automation, process, workflow, and digital opportunities • Partner with business stakeholders, Product Managers, Solution Partners, Delivery Architects, and Delivery Leads to clarify needs, scope, outcomes, and technical-review readiness • Translate ambiguous business requests into structured opportunity statements • Assess intake requests for clarity, completeness, business alignment, and discovery readiness • Create opportunity briefs, process maps, value summaries, business-case inputs, decision narratives, and discovery documentation • Document current-state and future-state processes using process flows, SIPOC diagrams, value stream maps, journey maps, capability maps, and decision flows • Identify process inefficiencies, gaps, handoffs, dependencies, risks, business rules, and improvement opportunities • Define value drivers, value assumptions, adoption expectations, measurable outcomes, and business-case logic • Collect and validate business-side prioritization inputs • Prepare opportunities for Technical Review and support handoffs into technical design and delivery planning • Create leadership-ready summaries covering problems, value, recommendations, scope, risks, tradeoffs, and next steps • Use approved AI tools including ChatGPT to accelerate discovery, documentation, and business-case development • Collaborate across global, virtual, and cross-functional teams • Promote continuous improvement in intake, discovery, business architecture, value definition, and pre-delivery readiness

🎯 Requirements

• Doctorate degree; or Master’s degree and 2 years of Computer Science, IT, or related experience • Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of Computer Science, IT, or related experience • Associate’s degree and 8 years of Computer Science, IT, or related experience • High school diploma/GED and 10 years of Computer Science, IT, or related experience • Strong business architecture, business analysis, and problem-framing skills • Experience leading discovery with business stakeholders and structuring ambiguous needs • Understanding of demand intake, opportunity assessment, discovery, prioritization, technical review preparation, and pre-delivery planning • Ability to document business problems, stakeholder needs, current and future-state processes, value drivers, assumptions, risks, dependencies, and outcomes • Experience supporting business cases, value assessments, ROI estimates, benefit hypotheses, or value realization planning • Strong process documentation and process-mapping skills • Ability to create opportunity statements, process flows, business narratives, and leadership-ready recommendations • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills • Experience preparing executive summaries, discovery readouts, prioritization recommendations, or business presentations • Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving • Ability to use approved AI tools to improve discovery and documentation • Ability to operate independently in a matrixed environment • Preferred familiarity with AI, automation, process intelligence, digital workflow, enterprise platforms, and transformation initiatives • Preferred familiarity with UiPath, DocuSign, Celonis, Power Platform, WalkMe, Custom GPTs, ChatGPT, or similar technologies • Preferred familiarity with SIPOC, value stream mapping, BPMN, journey mapping, capability mapping, Miro, Lucidchart, Visio, Jira, Jira Align, Smartsheet, and Confluence • Preferred experience with Agile, SAFe, Scrum, GxP, CFR 21 Part 11, computer system validation, quality systems, or regulated Life Sciences environments • Professional certifications are preferred but not required
