📋 Description

• Drive strategic supply network development and cost management for Anduril’s Counter Intrusion product portfolio across its lifecycles • Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functionally with engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams • Conduct supplier selection using the approved supplier list • Partner with strategic suppliers on concept scoping, feature trade-offs, should-cost/clean-sheet models, joint design development, and mechanical/electronics design simulation • Drive development and consolidation of the manufacturing BOM • Support production ramping internally and with suppliers • Manage CAPEX throughout NPI • Conduct value-stream mapping to optimize supply-network lead time and flexibility • Complete BOM risk assessments and alternate-component sourcing • Ensure component qualifications are completed before production • Optimize commonality and rationalize components and suppliers • Lead cost-engineering activities to align bottoms-up cost with product cost and maximize total cost of ownership • Manage tariffs, import/export costs, and cost inflation issues

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, or related technical field • 6+ years of experience in sourcing engineering, supplier engagement and development, or design of electronics and/or mechanical devices • Domain expertise of value/procurement engineering or TCO-related work at the component and product level • Ability to travel 30%–40% of the time, variable based on program needs • Preference to be onsite at an Anduril office; role open to remote in Massachusetts • Master’s degree or advanced technical degree in mechanical engineering preferred • Deeper experience in design and development of electronics and/or mechanical devices preferred • Advanced sourcing activities, including experience as commodity/sourcing managers preferred • Supplier development preferred • Early supplier engagement ahead of product/engineering requirement realization preferred • Familiarity with developing high-tech products in a high-mix, low-volume environment preferred • Exposure to a fast-paced startup environment preferred • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance preferred
