📋 Description

• Drive strategic supply network development and cost management for Anduril’s Counter Intrusion product portfolio across its lifecycles • Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality, and manufacturing • Conduct supplier selection for specific products using the approved supplier list • Partner with strategic suppliers to accelerate product development through concept scoping, feature trade-offs, should-cost/clean-sheet models, joint design development, and mechanical/electronics design simulation • Drive development and consolidation of manufacturing BOMs with Quality and Manufacturing • Ramp production internally and with suppliers with high flexibility • Manage CAPEX throughout NPI • Conduct value-stream mapping to optimize supply-network lead time and flexibility • Complete BOM risk assessments, including alternate component sourcing • Ensure completion of component qualifications ahead of production • Reduce complexity through commonality optimization and component/supplier rationalization • Lead cost-engineering activities to converge the bottoms-up cost curve to product cost and maximize total cost of ownership across the product lifecycle • Manage ad-hoc cost issues, including tariffs, import/export costs, and cost inflation

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, or related technical field • 6+ years of experience in sourcing engineering, supplier engagement and development, or design of electronics and/or mechanical devices • Domain expertise in value/procurement engineering or TCO-related work at the component and product level • Ability to travel 30%–40% of the time, variable based on program needs • Preference is to be onsite at an Anduril office, but the role is open to remote work in Texas • Preferred: Master’s degree or advanced technical degree in mechanical engineering • Preferred: Deeper experience in design and development of electronics and/or mechanical devices • Preferred: Advanced sourcing activities, including stints as commodity/sourcing managers • Preferred: Supplier development in technology, process, supply chain, or related areas • Preferred: Early supplier engagement ahead of product/engineering requirement realization • Preferred: Familiarity with developing high-tech products in a high-mix, low-volume environment • Preferred: Exposure to working in a fast-paced, start-up environment • Preferred: Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance
