AssetWatch is an industrial asset condition-monitoring and predictive maintenance platform. It combines hardware sensors (continuous and route-based vibration monitoring, electrical monitoring, oil analysis and connected devices) with SaaS software capabilities — including AI plus human expert review and integrations — to give enterprise operators one view of equipment health. AssetWatch targets industrial/manufacturing customers (chemicals, food & beverage, forestry/building materials, metals, mining, pharmaceuticals, plastics, pulp & paper, water/wastewater) and monitors assets such as pumps, motors, gearboxes, fans, blowers and compressors to reduce downtime and enable predictive maintenance.

📋 Description

• Join customer and prospect calls as the security subject matter expert • Address AWS, web, and mobile platform security topics • Own end-to-end responses to customer security questionnaires, SIG, CAIQ, and RFP security sections • Maintain pre-approved answers, evidence, and reference architecture diagrams • Support security-related contract reviews and due diligence requests with Legal, Sales, and Customer Success • Triage customer security questionnaires, RFP security sections, and due diligence requests within two business days • Ensure compliance with customer contractual obligations • Serve as a day-to-day control owner in Vanta, keeping evidence current and remediating failing checks • Support the annual SOC 2 Type 2 audit cycle • Help extend the compliance program to additional trust service categories • Maintain security policies, procedures, and control documentation • Run and document the vendor security review process • Participate in organizational risk assessments and vendor reviews • Administer and tune CrowdStrike Falcon EDR, including alert triage and response • Support identity and access security across Entra ID, including Conditional Access, MFA, and Platform SSO • Work with IT on Intune-managed security baselines and compliance policies for Windows and macOS • Own vulnerability management, including scanning, prioritization, remediation tracking, and trend reporting • Support security incident response, investigation, containment, and post-incident documentation • Monitor and respond to domain impersonation, phishing, and credential exposure • Administer the security awareness training program using tools such as KnowBe4 • Partner with the Director of IT on initiatives and tooling • Document processes and runbooks in Notion • Track security work in Jira and contribute to sprint or project planning • Communicate security concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a security engineering, security analyst, GRC, or IT security role • Direct experience responding to customer security questionnaires and supporting customer security calls • Hands-on experience with SOC 2 • Experience with Vanta or a similar GRC/trust platform such as Drata or Secureframe • Working knowledge of endpoint protection/EDR tools such as CrowdStrike • Familiarity with identity and access management concepts including SSO, MFA, and Conditional Access in a Microsoft/Entra ID environment • Comfortable working independently in a remote, fast-moving environment and managing multiple priorities • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to explain security topics to technical and non-technical audiences • Preferred: experience with Microsoft 365, Intune, and MDM security baselines • Preferred: experience with vulnerability management tooling and vendor risk management processes • Preferred: relevant certification such as Security+, CySA, CISSP, or a Vanta/Drata compliance certification • Preferred: experience with EU compliance programs such as GDPR and ISO 27001 • Preferred: experience supporting a SaaS or industrial IoT company through a customer-facing security review process • Preferred: familiarity with Jira, Slack, and Notion in a security operations context
