📋 Description

• Collaborate proactively with the project team throughout the development lifecycle • Help guide the team using software development experience • Ensure code quality and governance • Ensure engineers follow patterns and designs agreed with project leads • Plan, estimate, and contribute to architecture, coding, and development • Refactor codebases and drive continuous improvement • Communicate technical decisions and information thoroughly to the global team • Take responsibility for releases • Contribute to ongoing support of live applications • Participate in deployment and operation of software through DevOps activities • Deliver fair outcomes for customers while maintaining professional conduct • Participate in communication, technical, practical, and cultural-fit interviews

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of strong FrontEnd/BackEnd development experience • 3+ years of experience with Java and Spring • 4+ years of experience with TypeScript and React • 4+ years of experience with AWS Cloud development • 3+ years of experience with CDK and CloudFormation • 1+ years of experience with Bedrock, SageMaker, and PyTorch • Experience building scalable software services, such as serverless systems and microservices • Strong object-oriented design skills • Knowledge of design principles, patterns, and best practices • Experience working directly with clients and project stakeholders to define and refine requirements • Strong English skills, written and verbal • Must be located in Canada • Relocation support is not provided • Preferred: Vibe coding and Agentic Engineering experience • Preferred: Experience with DDD • Preferred: Experience with TDD • Resume and cover letter required • Ability to demonstrate the required skills in a remote interview process • Willingness to complete a live coding exercise in Java
