📋 Description

• Own and evolve Babylist's AWS infrastructure using Terraform • Maintain EKS clusters, databases, and core services for performance, security, and currency • Ship tested software tools and services with runbooks and self-service workflows • Build secure Terraform defaults for least-privilege access, secrets, and workload isolation • Integrate dependency and container scanning, secret detection, and short-lived deployment credentials into CI/CD • Support engineers across local, staging, and production environments • Define SLOs and actionable monitoring and alerting standards • Validate backups, restore procedures, and failover paths through recovery tests • Lead or support incident response and post-incident reviews • Shape the infrastructure roadmap and lead cross-team initiatives from design through ongoing operation • Mentor engineers

🎯 Requirements

• Strong software engineering skills with experience shipping and operating production-quality tools or services • Experience building security into production systems, including access, workload identity, secrets, or network isolation controls • Deep hands-on Terraform expertise • Proven AWS experience at scale, including EKS, RDS, cloud networking, DNS, CDNs, and load balancers • Experience operating Kubernetes in production • Experience designing and improving CI/CD systems; CircleCI, GitHub Actions, or similar • Strong observability experience with Datadog, Sentry, PagerDuty, Cronitor, or similar • Experience with on-call and incident management • Experience supporting developers across local, staging, and production environments • Comfortable using AI in daily work • No educational credential specified
