📋 Description

• Own a major product, platform, or cross-team capability domain • Set technical direction and sequence multi-year roadmap bets • Make cross-team architecture and product decisions • Take ambiguous business problems from concept through production and measure customer impact • Build and scale platforms or tooling adopted by other teams • Establish AI development standards, patterns, and evaluation systems • Detect confidently incorrect AI output before release • Partner with product, design, and data on product direction • Coach Senior engineers through difficult technical and ambiguous decisions • Work directly with customers through user interviews, session recordings, and support ride-alongs

🎯 Requirements

• Production systems experience for enough years to have earned strong opinions • Experience changing how a team builds with AI, with the new way adopted • Excellence in either systems/platforms/reliability/security/AI tooling or customer-focused product engineering, and fluency in the other • Ability to take on ambiguous problems independently • Ability to measure work by customer or system impact • Curiosity and initiative to identify and ship improvements • Technical screen is language-agnostic and does not permit AI • Must use AI in work and reflect own thinking in submissions and interviews
