📋 Description

• Design, build, and ship features end-to-end across a TypeScript/React frontend and TypeScript/Python backend • Own and extend integrations and backend services including LoanPro, HubSpot, and internal APIs • Become the accountable owner for at least one integration or backend service • Add tests, monitoring, and instrumentation to improve reliability and catch issues before customers do • Investigate and resolve production issues and reduce recurring errors • Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and planning • Communicate proactively in a Slack-first team • Use AI coding tools and automation to increase speed and reduce repetitive manual work • Ship a first production change in the first week • Independently deliver features end-to-end within 90 days • Build measurably reliable, well-tested, well-monitored, low-noise systems • Adopt AI in the engineering workflow and identify technology-driven efficiency improvements • Report to the Head of Engineering

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience shipping production software • Strong full-stack ability with a backend lean • Hands-on experience with TypeScript/React and Python • Demonstrated experience owning services, APIs, or integrations end-to-end • Working discipline around testing, monitoring, and reliability • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with shifting priorities and evolving processes • Self-directed, accountable, and proactive • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship • Willingness to undergo a background check if an offer is extended • Dedicated, distraction-free workspace for remote work • Early-stage startup experience is a strong plus • Hands-on experience building with LLMs or AI tooling is a strong plus • 1+ year of remote or distributed work experience is preferred
