📋 Description

• Lead procurement activities for complex programs and manage assigned commodities • Assist distribution partners in translating technical specifications and work statements into purchase orders • Manage the full procurement lifecycle, including proposal preparation and review, evaluation criteria development, supplier selection, and award administration • Analyze forecasted spend, demand trends, and marketplace volatility to develop sourcing strategies • Negotiate purchase-order additions, deletions, and modifications • Resolve complex invoicing issues • Ensure transactions meet corporate and regulatory standards • Serve as subject matter expert for Procurement Compliance and Cost/Price Analysis • Drive supplier engagement and production ramp-ups • Develop supplier quality, performance, and adoption of industry best practices • Support the supply chain for BAE Systems’ defense, aerospace, and security programs

🎯 Requirements

• Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 2 years work experience or equivalent experience • Demonstrated ability to resolve contractual and performance issues with suppliers or equivalent experience • Project / Supplier Management or applicable experience in an equivalent context • Financial acumen in quoting, P&L, and operating margin • Familiarity with Oracle purchasing system • Established proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook) • Working knowledge of Microsoft Teams • Working knowledge of FAR and DFAR regulations and the nature of flow down requirements • Knowledge of ITAR and EAR • Understanding/knowledge of CPSR audits and requirements • Comprehensive understanding of subcontractor solicitations and bid analysis/process • 2 or more years’ experience in operations, supply chain, or procurement • Understanding of defense aerospace industry and regulations • Working knowledge of multifaceted electronics design and manufacturing environments or equivalent experience • Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment • Moderate technical acumen, including ability to interpret drawing requirements
