📋 Description

• support and enhance the firm’s data ecosystem across hybrid on-premises and cloud environments • serve as a technical owner for mission-critical database systems • ensure maximum availability and reliability of mission-critical database systems across hybrid infrastructure • administer, configure, and optimize SQL Server 2016+ Always On availability groups, clustering, and replication topologies • manage Windows patching and SQL Server cumulative updates • lead major database upgrade initiatives • troubleshoot complex database issues and conduct root cause analysis • collaborate cross-functionally to design scalable, resilient database architectures • partner closely with Enterprise Applications, Application Development, IT, and PMO teams

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of SQL Server administration experience • SQL Server 2016+ • high availability technologies (Always On Availability Groups, clustering, replication) • Deep understanding of both cloud and on-prem data environments • Azure SQL Database and Azure SQL Managed Instance • Hands-on experience with enterprise SQL monitoring and backup platforms • Automate operational workflows using PowerShell • Support and optimize Power BI Service and Power BI Server • Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of related conflicts experience or equivalent
