📋 Description

• Develop native iOS code solutions for digital banking products and features • Partner with product, design, and engineering to deliver high-quality, user-centric iOS experiences • Design, develop, and maintain iOS applications using Swift, focusing on performance, scalability, and usability • Architect and implement robust, maintainable solutions aligned with best practices and long-term product goals • Participate in feature planning, technical design, and effort estimation • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex product and performance issues • Maintain and improve code quality through testing, code reviews, and continuous refactoring • Write and maintain unit tests • Keep the codebase current with evolving iOS platforms, frameworks, and industry standards • Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines and development workflows • Document code, systems, and processes • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering culture • Stay current with emerging iOS technologies, tools, and trends

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software development experience, including 5+ years focused on iOS development • Strong proficiency in Swift and modern iOS frameworks, including UIKit, SwiftUI, and Combine • Proven experience designing, building, and shipping high-quality, scalable iOS applications • Strong understanding of software architecture patterns such as MVVM, MVC, and VIPER • Experience integrating RESTful APIs, backend services, and third-party libraries • Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and building intuitive user experiences • Ability to lead technical initiatives and deliver projects end-to-end • Experience mentoring engineers, conducting code reviews, and improving team code quality • Strong cross-functional collaboration with product, design, and backend teams • Ability to make sound technical decisions and balance trade-offs in fast-paced environments • Experience with unit testing, UI testing, TDD, and maintaining high code quality standards • Proficiency with Git and modern development workflows • Track record in high-growth or startup environments, demonstrating ownership and adaptability • Exceptional problem-solving skills, strong communication, and a collaborative mindset • Experience with modern AI tools • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience • Must live in Canada
