📋 Description

• Provide day-to-day guidance and mentorship to QA engineers and SDETs • Act as the primary QA point of contact for assigned projects • Collaborate with engineering and product teams on testable requirements and quality expectations • Define and execute test strategies aligned with scope, timelines, and delivery goals • Plan and estimate testing activities • Oversee manual and automated functional, regression, and integration testing • Review and validate test cases • Drive adoption and implementation of test automation • Maintain and enhance automation frameworks, tools, and scripts • Leverage AI-driven tools and modern testing techniques • Implement versioning and environment promotion practices for automation assets • Track, prioritize, and manage defects through their lifecycle • Analyze quality metrics and perform root cause analysis • Support release planning and readiness, providing QA sign-off • Ensure test environment availability and manage secure, high-quality test data • Provide work direction as a Lead; no supervisory responsibilities or direct reports

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field • 8+ years of experience in general Software Quality Assurance • 6 years of experience in SDET or automation-focused roles • Previous experience acting as a QA lead or key contributor on complex, cross-functional projects • Strong hands-on experience in both manual and automated testing • Strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and modern testing best practices • Deep understanding of test automation frameworks, tools, and methodologies • Hands-on experience designing, developing, and maintaining automated test solutions • Experience with API testing, including RESTful and SOAP services, and validation of system integrations • Solid technical foundation in software development concepts, including object-oriented programming and design principles • Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, such as Azure DevOps, Bitbucket, and Copado • Experience collaborating with distributed and cross-functional teams across multiple geographic locations • Preferred: experience with Salesforce, APIs, middleware such as MuleSoft, and cloud-based systems • Preferred: familiarity with healthcare or regulated environments, compliance, data sensitivity, and quality standards
