📋 Description

• Support the UX design vision, strategy, and roadmap for product experiences • Identify usability testing initiatives and analyze feedback to inform design decisions • Mentor, coach, and provide design leadership to UX designers • Improve UX processes and encourage widespread UX adoption • Serve as a UX expert across product teams • Lead user-centric design thinking, ideation, wireframing, prototyping, and user testing • Illustrate design ideas with storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps • Design intuitive user interfaces using the Shield BeyondTrust Design System • Evolve company design language and standards • Conduct and synthesize research activities and collaborate with UX Research specialists • Facilitate cross-functional workshops for project strategy, success goals, and ideation • Collaborate with product managers, product owners, developers, and stakeholders to implement design solutions • Standardize experiences, reduce design debt, and establish scalable UX practices • Collaborate with marketing, sales, support, and executive management • Advocate for user-centred design principles • Research UX and cybersecurity developments and attend courses and conferences • Lead adoption of AI-enhanced design practices and produce developer-ready outputs, interactive prototypes, and AI-generated implementation assets

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 6-8 years of user experience design experience for enterprise/desktop software, web applications, mobile platforms and other standard technologies • Exceptional knowledge of user research methodologies, usability testing, and design thinking processes • Ability to mentor and coach UX Designers • Comfort working with remote distributed teams • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Strong conceptualization and visual communication ability, with attention to detail • Understanding of common software development practices and proficiency within a software development lifecycle (SDLC) • Experience with HTML and CSS, including Accessibility practices • Ability to balance UX team mentoring, hands-on UX work, and product decision input • Ability to quickly learn new technologies and approaches • Ability to build and maintain relationships with developers and managers and champion UX ideas • Ability to communicate and contribute in a remote team setting • Ability to organize, multitask, and prioritize • Nice to have: Windows and Mac OS experience • Nice to have: Android, iOS, Windows Mobile, and other mobile platform experience • Nice to have: UX design experience for enterprise cybersecurity software • Nice to have: Claude Code or Claude Design, Figma, Miro, Adobe Creative Suite, and Jira experience • Nice to have: Experience working with Agile development teams
