📋 Description

• Define test strategies, scope test efforts, and review product requirements and engineering specifications during Agile planning. • Develop and maintain repeatable automated testing solutions and QA test plans. • Establish test methodology and automation practices supporting parallel enterprise software development and automated test suites. • Integrate testing practices with development and DevOps workflows. • Partner with software engineers, QA team members, and system and database administrators to investigate test failures. • Use SQL queries and web and application server log analysis to troubleshoot failures. • Test software across relevant platforms, including mobile applications. • Improve automation coverage, test reliability, and overall software quality. • Provide technical or team leadership, share quality engineering expertise, support junior team members, and resolve complex testing and automation challenges.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. • 8+ years of related experience in enterprise software testing or quality engineering. • Strong hands-on experience with test automation and familiarity with manual and automated testing tools and approaches. • Experience testing software on mobile platforms and working within Agile development environments. • Experience troubleshooting complex test failures across application, database, and test environments; practical SQL and log-analysis experience is valuable. • Familiarity with cloud automation and DevOps practices, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), is an advantage. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adjust effectively to changing priorities and collaborate across technical teams. • Demonstrated ability to provide technical or team leadership and support the development of less-experienced team members. • Ability to work remotely within Canada with availability overlapping Eastern Time hours.
