📋 Description

• Record daily and monthly financial transactions, including bank activity, general journal entries, and other accounting transactions • Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, adjustments, and intercompany transactions • Perform monthly bank and general ledger reconciliations • Investigate and resolve discrepancies • Support month-end close activities by preparing schedules and supporting documentation • Escalate complex issues as needed • Follow established accounting processes and identify opportunities to improve accuracy and efficiency • Collaborate cross-functionally to obtain required information and resolve transactional issues • Maintain compliance with accounting policies and internal controls • Support the completeness and accuracy of financial data

🎯 Requirements

• Successful completion of post-secondary education in accounting • Experience with accounting systems, such as Sage 300 • Experience with Microsoft Office suite • Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting or financial operations • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes • Strong analytical and reconciliation skills • High attention to detail • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities and deadlines • Effective problem-solving skills and ability to investigate discrepancies • Strong organizational and time management skills • Effective communication and collaboration skills • Process-oriented mindset focused on accuracy and consistency • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment • English proficiency required • Bilingualism in French and English required
