📋 Description

• Drive the overall software development lifecycle across functional teams, from requirements transformation through features, testing, and maintenance • Translate user requirements and needs into technical specifications • Write code and manage preparation of design specifications • Support system design and advise on security requirements • Debug business systems and service applications • Develop high-quality technology applications and services using algorithms, data structures, programming languages, tools, standards, and software platforms • Analyze, develop, test, and implement software programs • Document software development lifecycle execution • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and fault rectification of system and core software components • Ensure code and configurations meet security, logging, error handling, performance, and non-functional requirements • Evaluate new technologies and assess upstream and downstream impacts on processes, data, and risk • Follow release management processes and standards and apply version controls • Assist with interpreting and documenting client requirements • Make sound, risk-informed decisions aligned with business strategy, policies, laws, and regulations

🎯 Requirements

• Typically 4–6 years of relevant experience • Post-secondary degree in a related field of study or equivalent combination of education and experience • Technical proficiency gained through education and/or business experience • Foundational proficiency in creative thinking, relationship building and management, emotional agility, quality assurance and testing, cloud computing, microservices, technology business requirements definition, analysis and mapping, adaptability, and learning agility • Intermediate proficiency in programming, applications integration, test-driven development, system development lifecycle, troubleshooting, system and technology integration, verbal and written communication, collaboration and team skills, analytical and problem-solving skills, and data-driven decision making • Ability to work independently on complex tasks and solve problems within given rules • Ability to apply risk management, security, logging, error handling, performance, release management, and version control standards
