📋 Description

• Design, build, and own production services in the Authentication Service, ensuring correctness, scalability, and security. • Develop and extend AI agent authentication capabilities to securely govern AI agent authentication and access to enterprise resources. • Optimize networked applications for latency and throughput using profiling tools and efficient concurrency models. • Apply threat modeling and vulnerability mitigation to protect data integrity across distributed environments. • Use AI coding and debugging tools while evaluating outputs for correctness, security implications, and architectural fit. • Partner with product, security, and AI engineering teams to deliver authentication capabilities end to end. • Write unit and integration tests covering failure scenarios. • Conduct code and design reviews for peers. • Own assigned services through design, implementation, deployment, and ongoing operation. • Meet authentication service availability and latency SLOs, maintain test coverage, deliver roadmap features, and support the Agentic protection roadmap.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience building and operating production systems • Hands-on production experience with Rust, Python, or Go • Ability to optimize networked applications for latency and throughput using profiling and concurrency techniques • Strong security-oriented engineering background, including threat modeling, vulnerability mitigation, and data integrity in distributed systems • Track record of comprehensive unit, integration, and failure-scenario testing • Practical fluency with AI coding assistants and ability to critically assess their outputs • Experience with OAuth, OIDC, or SAML preferred • Exposure to AI agent systems, agentic frameworks, or machine-to-machine authentication patterns preferred • Experience with foundational platform or infrastructure services preferred

🏖️ Benefits

• Base salary range of 112,000 CAD - 168,000 CAD • Eligibility for stock-based compensation grants, which may enable employees to become Menlo Security shareholders • Competitive total compensation and benefits package
