📋 Description

• Manage highly complex projects and provide technical review and project management support across multiple technical disciplines • Prepare and make decisions for major proposals and contracts • Prepare complex engineering reports with professional opinions and practical geotechnical solutions • Perform engineering analyses using company and industry methodologies, standards, formulas, and computer software • Interface with federal and state regulatory authorities on complex projects • Develop and deliver client presentations and assist with marketing strategies and activities • Manage client needs through communications and proposal/project work • Oversee client contracting with corporate legal support • Develop and maintain internal and external client relationships • Market Braun Intertec services to clients • Coordinate project assignments with engineers and technicians • Review vendor, client, engineer, and architect drawings and recommend changes • Review engineering work and technical reports • Identify complex problems and implement solutions • Manage project teams, including engineering and field support personnel • Lead, mentor, manage, and develop technical staff • Manage and mitigate risk within established procedures and protocols • Represent Braun Intertec internally and externally as a technical leader and resource • Follow and communicate project safety requirements • Travel locally and throughout the United States, up to 25%

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in civil or geotechnical engineering or closely related field • Minimum 15 years of geotechnical engineering experience within professional consulting services • Experience managing client relationships and developing new business • Valid Driver’s License • ND PE Certification required • Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills • Creative and innovative problem-solving abilities • Ability to mentor less experienced engineers • Ability to influence others, delegate, and develop direct reports • Technical leadership reputation in the industry regionally or nationally • Excellent problem-solving, written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills • Ability to interpret business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals • Ability to interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form • Ability to develop positive client relationships • Highly organized, able to prioritize, multitask, and maintain attention to detail • Ability to work independently and as a team member • Ability to create, maintain, and communicate project budgets • Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, criminal background check, and motor vehicle report
