📋 Description

• Contribute to and become an expert in Breadboard’s software and infrastructure. • Implement and roll out new features into production. • Understand how the global electronics supply chain works. • Own larger initiatives, push back on founders, and deliver value to customers. • Design and implement modular systems with the right balance of structure and flexibility. • Introduce software development practices that keep engineers productive. • Mentor more junior engineers as the team grows. • Identify new opportunities for responsibility and take them on. • Partner with the CTO to set the foundation for the electronics supply chain operating system. • Help define engineering culture, grow the team, and hire engineers. • Participate in architectural decisions, recruiting, and building the organization.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in architecting, developing, testing, and launching web applications from end to end. • Self-started and fast learner who is comfortable dealing with ambiguity and hard problems. • Experience of working with React as well as such modern backend web frameworks as NestJS. • Experience in working with relational databases, ideally Postgres. • Familiarity with cloud-native software development (ideally AWS). • Able to apply best software engineering practices (testing, lean development, SOLID principles, code reviews)
