📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, and coach the software engineering team to achieve high performance and professional growth. • Own delivery planning, sprint execution, and release management, ensuring timely and high-quality software releases. • Collaborate with Product and stakeholders to define the roadmap and translate requirements into actionable plans. • Drive architecture decisions, enforce code quality standards, and champion engineering best practices. • Oversee production reliability, incident response, and continuous improvement of operational processes. • Contribute hands-on to backend and frontend codebases, with a focus on AWS architecture and integrations.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field — or equivalent hands-on experience. • 3+ years of experience managing and coaching software engineers in a team environment • 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience writing production code • Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch) • Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration • Backend development experience with .NET or Node.js, and frontend development experience with React and TypeScript • Experience leading Agile/Scrum delivery, including sprint execution and release management • Experience leading production operations, including incident response and reliability practices • Experience collaborating with Product stakeholders on roadmap and requirements • Experience working in a B2B SaaS product environment • Eligible to work in Canada • Ability to travel occasionally (approximately 4 trips per year) to Mississauga or Waterloo, Ontario
