📋 Description

• Review and analyze business and technical requirements and functional specifications • Develop and execute test cases • Perform manual and automated functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing • Conduct API and integration testing for APIs, third-party services, data exchanges, and system interactions • Perform database and backend testing using SQL • Validate data integrity, transaction accuracy, and expected system behavior • Identify, document, and track defects with reproducible steps and supporting information • Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Operations, and other stakeholders • Communicate testing results and verify defect fixes • Execute post-release and post-implementation testing • Maintain test cases, test results, defect logs, and QA documentation • Improve testing processes, test coverage, and automation practices

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience • At least 2 years of experience in software quality assurance, software testing, or a related role • Hands-on experience with functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing • Strong knowledge of API testing, including RESTful APIs • Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks • Experience with API testing tools such as Postman and Swagger • Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira or Linear • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills • Exceptional attention to detail • Good written and verbal communication skills • Strong organizational and time management skills • Experience in fintech, banking, financial services, or payment processing environments is a bonus • Familiarity with credit card transaction processing, Visa or Mastercard payment networks, settlement processes, or rewards platforms is a bonus • Intermediate SQL skills are a bonus • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing in deployment workflows is a bonus • Experience with performance, load, or security testing is a bonus • Exposure to cloud-based applications, microservices architectures, and event-driven systems is a bonus
