📋 Description

• Understand real-world mission/business objectives and software development practices and technologies • Capture, analyze, and manage functional and non-functional systems requirements and user stories • Decompose Features into stories in a product backlog for iterative development cycles • Work with the ScrumMaster to establish Sprint backlogs, resolve impediments, and provide direction on scope • Lead and facilitate backlog refinement • Collaborate with Product Owners to prioritize the backlog and align requirements with business objectives and roadmap goals • Define and maintain team and iteration backlog content • Document stories and Acceptance Criteria, identify dependencies, and ensure traceability • Work with Product Owners and Functional SMEs to verify requirements and align scope and expected outcomes • Communicate business needs to development teams through user stories and acceptance criteria • Define and validate acceptance criteria for Test Driven Development • Elaborate upcoming work items and ensure readiness for future iterations • Lead stakeholder demonstrations and report on software iteration results

🎯 Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen • Must have a DoD Secret clearance • Ability to pass a background investigation, including a 3-year check for felony convictions, a 1-year check for illegal drug use, and a 1-year check for misconduct such as theft or fraud • College degree (B.S.) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Management Systems or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Minimum five (5+) years’ experience as a business analyst on iterative software development projects • Familiarity with SAFe or Agile methodologies • Strong skills with MS Office tools (Excel, Word, Project, Visio) and SharePoint • Candidate must live within driving distance of Scott Air Force Base • Desired: Certified SAFe Product Owner • Desired: Certified SAFe Practitioner • Desired: SAP or a software development background • Desired: Certified Business Analysis Professional • Desired: Agile or Scrum Master Certification • Desired: Knowledge and experience with BABOK • Desired: Experience with ServiceNow or Jira • Ability to act independently to expose and resolve problems
