📋 Description

• Own a product area across releases and own a system component, prototype, or tooling used by other designers • Build working prototypes with real components and data to test ideas and align product and engineering • Select research that will influence decisions, synthesize findings, and make recommendations • Define measures before building and monitor outcomes, changing direction when needed • Define quality standards covering error and empty states, responsive behavior, WCAG 2.0 AA, and consistent patterns • Present contested recommendations to senior stakeholders and drive decisions • Raise standards through design reviews, mentoring, and hands-on work • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other designers throughout the end-to-end design process • Turn complex requirements into intuitive, usable, and visually compelling experiences

🎯 Requirements

• Owned a product area across multiple releases, with a portfolio demonstrating product judgment • Depth across UX and visual design, with one area of exceptional expertise • Builds with AI and ships things others rely on • Comfortable prototyping in code or with AI tools • Understands how components and data shape a design • Understands when a design is expensive • Experience working with dense data, permissions, regulated environments, and information-heavy screens • Ability to disagree constructively and change perspective based on evidence • Experience in fintech, wealth management, or another regulated domain (bonus) • Experience taking products from zero to one (bonus) • Experience building a design system or meaningful part of one (bonus) • Front-end development or design engineering background (bonus)
