📋 Description

• Lead the technical enablement and end-to-end integration of core payment products—including EMV, Digital, Tokenization, and 3DS—for issuing and acquiring partners across the LATAM region • Act as the primary technical SME to Issuers, Acquirers, Processors, and Gateways, translating complex network product specifications into actionable client implementation plans • Guide partners through L3 terminal certification setup, connectivity, test case execution, and TSE configuration • Evaluate test case failures, address technical queries, analyze/approve waivers, and review final documentation to approve Letters of Certification (LOC) • Serve as a SME for network test tools, including card/host simulators • Consult with Issuers to select and build card profiles adhering to Network EMV specifications • Troubleshoot CPV failures, validate prerequisites, approve waivers, and sign off on final LOCs • Conduct root-cause analysis on technical integration issues by investigating specifications, transaction flows, and configuration files • Identify inefficiencies in implementation models to optimize client onboarding, improve metrics tracking, and support commercialization of new payment capabilities • Proactively manage technical risks, escalate customer-impacting issues, and maintain relationships with internal business teams and external service providers

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification • At least 4 years of experience with L3 Certification (Acquiring or Issuing), ISO 8583, EMV specifications, contactless NFC, 3D Secure (3DS) or Digital Tokenization • At least 5 years of experience in client-facing technical delivery or stakeholder management • At least 2 years of technical troubleshooting and investigation experience within payment network implementations • Fluent in Spanish and English • Successful candidates will need to complete a Language Assessment • Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or Business • Preferred: Experience utilizing industry test tools and providers (FIME, UL, ArgoTechno) • Preferred: Experience working directly with Payment Service Providers (PSPs), acquirer processors, or card issuers in the Latin American (LATAM) market • At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position
