📋 Description

• Drive revenue growth and develop sales strategies for Department of Defense fire station alerting systems • Serve as a trusted advisor to customers and key stakeholders throughout the buying process • Translate customer needs into practical solutions and articulate the value of US Digital Designs’ offerings • Drive demand generation, develop opportunities, and expand USDD solutions into federal, military, and other mission-critical applications • Manage the full lifecycle from customer discovery and solution positioning through implementation support and long-term account growth • Conduct value selling by understanding customer challenges and translating needs into sales proposals • Evaluate customer needs and provide technical recommendations and best practices • Build technical requirements and solutions • Conduct regular on-site customer visits and communications before, during, and after sales • Research and maintain understanding of the competitive marketplace • Demonstrate expert-level understanding of DoD procurement processes and contracts • Provide strategic insights to senior management

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of Public Safety subject matter expertise, preferably Fire, Medic, or Dispatch • 5+ years of technical sales experience • Strong and independent organizational skills • Ability to travel to U.S.-based events • 7+ years’ experience with US Digital Designs offerings and/or similar low-voltage offerings preferred • 7+ years’ experience in DoD/DoW Fire Service preferred • College degree preferred; relevant experience will be considered • Experience in government procurement • Experience with standard productivity software suites, including Microsoft Office • Experience working with CRM software; Salesforce preferred • Must have or be eligible for a security clearance due to contractual requirements
