• Provide in-person support to group members with information, resources, and assistance to complete their claims forms • Build relationships with local communities and organization members • Participate in training sessions, including online courses and refresher sessions • Carry out work safely, following provided training and established guidelines
• Experience working with Indigenous peoples and communities (three years or more) • Ability to work professionally in an Indigenous language is considered an asset • Strong knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) systems, Microsoft tools, and similar database platforms • Deep knowledge of Indigenous culture and history and the impacts of (intergenerational) trauma • Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully, both written and verbal • Valid driver’s license, access to a reliable vehicle, and proof of automobile insurance • Ability to travel across Canada (up to 60% of the role)
• Starting annual salary of $60,000 to $65,000 • Competitive benefits package
