CCIB is the Centre de Convencions i Auditori Fòrum in Barcelona, a large convention and auditorium complex offering about 100,000 m² of flexible event space across two connected buildings. It hosts international conferences, congresses, concerts and exhibitions, provides event services (auditorium facilities, gastronomy, logistics), and offers visitor information, virtual tours and sustainability and accessibility services for organisers and attendees.

📋 Description

• Translate user-facing content, system labels, forms, workflows, and communications from English to Canadian French • Support French localization of CCIB’s new CRM platform and future digital systems • Contribute to translation and quality review of content for a new organizational website • Develop and maintain terminology guides, glossaries, and translation standards • Review translations for accuracy, consistency, readability, and cultural relevance • Test translated content within systems to ensure functionality, formatting, and user experience are maintained in both official languages • Collaborate with subject matter experts and project teams to clarify terminology and context • Provide recommendations to improve bilingual user experiences across systems and platforms

🎯 Requirements

• Current Ontario university student enrolled in Translation, Interpretation, Linguistics, French Studies, or a related program • 4th year university student in Translation, Interpretation, Linguistics, French Studies, or a related field • Professional-level written French (Canada) • Strong English language skills • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to linguistic accuracy • Ability to adapt content for diverse audiences while maintaining meaning and intent • Strong collaboration and communication skills in a remote environment • Interest in technology, digital platforms, user experience, and localization • Experience with terminology management or content management systems is considered an asset • Available for a flexible 4–12 month internship • Must be located anywhere in Ontario
